Walt Taylor

DezRay Case

FSP/Embalmer/Headstone & Preneed Specialist

DezRay Case grew up in the Douglas County area where she served her apprenticeship at a local funeral home, then graduated from Mt. Hood Community College’s with an associate degree in Mortuary Science. DezRay came aboard Taylor’s in 2020, and since then, she has taken on many responsibilities. In addition to being a licensed funeral director and embalmer, she also handles the accounting, has her notary license as well as her insurance license, and is our go to preneed specialist and headstone specialist. Those roles aside, DezRay feels a great sense of pride in serving our families with her attention to detail, and her professionalism puts families at ease during difficult times.

DezRay enjoys camping and adventuring with her dogs, attending local events, and cruising in her Rambler during the Summer months.

Rhiannon Clevenger

FSP/Embalmer

Born and raised in Humboldt County, CA, Rhiannon moved to Douglas County in the early Spring of 2022. She served her apprenticeship at Taylor’s while attending Umpqua Community College, which she completed just before leaving for mortuary school for Fall 2023. In June 2024, she graduated with honors from the Funeral Service Education program at Mt. Hood Community College. Rhiannon passed her national board exams in the Summer and is now a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

In her free time; she enjoys journaling, visiting local wineries and farmer’s markets, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their chiweenie, Rusty.
