Obituary

Willard Joseph June, 'Joe' to everyone that knew him, passed away on September 27th, 2025 at the age of 55.

Joe was born on July 14th, 1970 to Florence Ann June at the old Mercy Hospital in Roseburg, Oregon. The family lived next to Whistler's Park Mercantile on Diamond Lake Highway near Glide, later moving to the Peel Country Store area which remained a special place for Joe his whole life.

Joe was a student at Douglas High School. He then traveled North to Washington Street, and finally settled in Post Falls, Idaho where he lived for many years working several jobs, eventually becoming a tow truck driver for Body By Scotty. He did mechanic and paint work from his own shop for family and friends. He loved to race Bump to Pass at the Stateline Racetrack in the #77. He also loved riding motorcycles.

Anyone who knew Joe knew that he would give them the shirt from his back. In 2017 Joe moved back to Roseburg to be closer to family. He had several jobs, including building cell towers with Chad Dowden and others. In July of 2018 he began working with Con-Vey, where he gained another family. The folks at Con-Vey really cared about and treated Joe exceedingly well. When Joe became physically unable to continue working, his friends and coworkers remained by his side. His family is forever grateful to Travis, Tina, Jake, Ryan, Larry, Jeff, and everyone else who cared for Joe.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Florence Ann June and his brother Colin June. He is survived by his remaining siblings; David (Gina) June, Janine (Don) Clute, Lorraine (Jay) De Los Santos, Char (David) Gibson; Joe's son William Joseph June and grandkids Weston, Aurora, Mariah, and Serena. Joe had many friends that he considered family; while they are too numerous to list here please know that he loved you all. Joe will be dearly missed!
