Obituary

Thomas Camarillo, beloved father, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2009 at the age of 75, after a brief illness. Tom was born in Denver, Colorado and lived in Orangevale, California throughout his adult life. He served honorably in the Army during the Korean war conflict and was briefly stationed in Washington state. After 33 years of service as a mechanic at McClellan AFB in Sacramento, California he retired to beautiful Oregon a place which he had discovered years ago through his enlistment. He loved this quiet place, the lovely scenery and most of all his friends and caring people that were in his life here. They have helped him along the way while enjoying his retirement years here. Survivors include daughter, Liz and her husband Bruce Craig of Portage, Indiana; sons Stephen Camarillo of Orangevale, California and Larry Camarillo of Brigham City, Utah; grandchildren Gia, Darius, Tarah, Austin, Sarah and Seth; and great-grandchildren Shlya and Lia, and special friend of 30 years Anna M. Smith. To those of you who befriended, helped, cared for and shared laughter with our Dad, we want you to know that this brought him great joy and comfort and we love you all. Friends are welcome to visit with each other and the family and to share a memory on Saturday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Moose Lodge located at 3240 Jefferson Blvd., West Sacramento, CA (916) 371-9684.
