Tazuko Morimoto passed away on January 29, 2010 in Sebastopol at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Akira Morimoto; devoted mother of Hirokazu Morimoto of Japan and Chikako (Mike) Strunk of Sebastopol; adored grandmother of Ellika Strunk and Monika Strunk; Dear sister of Yoshiko (Takao) Morimoto; cherished aunt of Kumiko Takyu, Shinji Morimoto and the late Noboru Morimoto. Though Tazuko passed at 82, she was well known and loved for her young and adventurous spirit. She loved spending time with her family. She loved children and got great enjoyment from spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to knit, to take trips, and was a constant reader. Funeral services will be held at Taylor's Family Mortuary in Winston, Oregon. Private interment will be at the Lookingglass Cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon.
