Our dear mother, Shirley Ann Wilson, resident of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Dec. 29, 2023. She
was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Wilson. Shirley was born on July 8, 1936, in Blackwell,
Oklahoma.
Shirley lived a life of two successful careers. The first as an Army wife and mother of two. The second as
a world traveler, diamond courier and entrepreneur. Shirley was a wonderful mother who always put
family first. She was a rock, the foundation of the Wilson family.
Shirley is survived by her son Mark Wilson and his wife Elizabeth of Rainbow City, Alabama. Daughter
Karen Wilson-Welborn of Camas, Washington. Four grandchildren; Katrina Welborn of Madison,
Wisconsin, John Welborn of North Bonneville, Washington, Elle Wilson of Seattle, Washington, Stephen
Welborn of Helena, Montana, and great-grandson Atlas Welborn of North Bonneville, Washington. She
is also survived by two sisters, Delores Green and Karen Batsch.
Special appreciation to her good friends Joan Larecy, Lucie Ferguson and Gail Pickle. Shirley left a trail of
friends from Roseburg to Branson and around the world. There won't be a day she's not missed.
