Sally Mary Burke passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 87. She was born September 26, 1927 in Jamaica, New York, daughter of Dominic & Matilda (Kernken) De Rosa, where she was raised and educated. Sally was working for American Airlines when she met and married Clayton Burke, who was a pilot for American. They later moved to California and raised their two children, Brian Burke of Tenmile, Oregon and Kathy Burke of Port Orchard, Washington. Sally and her son moved to Oregon in 1994 after her husband Clayton passed away. She loved to crocheting, baking, and cooking. There was always something good on the stove. Many of Sally's younger friends affectionately called her "mom". She would always lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She will be in our hearts forever. Memorial Services will be held at Taylor's Mortuary in Winston, on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 2:00 p.m
