Robin Douglas Rogers

Robin Douglas Rogers, a true mountain man and longtime resident of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born in Gilman, Colorado, on December 5, 1942, to Phillip Rogers and Golda Sharon, Robin grew up in Eagle, Colorado with a deep respect for nature that shaped his entire life.

Following high school, Robin proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his military service, he found his calling on the open road, working as a professional truck driver for most of his life. He eventually retired from Terrain Tamers Trucking in Roseburg, where he was known for his work ethic and reliability.

An avid outdoorsman, Robin grew up fishing the rivers of his native Colorado. When he later moved to Oregon, he eagerly continued his favorite pastime, with fly fishing always holding a special place in his heart. The mountains were his sanctuary, and he spent every opportunity he could hunting, camping, and exploring the wilderness.

Robin truly did not have an enemy in the world; everybody who met him loved him. He had a warm, playful spirit and loved nothing more than to tease those he cared about, bringing laughter to everyone around him.

Robin is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Rogers; his daughters Sara Rogers and Leslie Abbott, and his son Bruce Argo.

He was preceded in death by his parents Phillip Rogers and Golda Sharon; his son Mitchell Rogers, and daughters Shawnee Rogers and Tia Argo.

He will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, and the fellow travelers he met along life's highway.

May he find eternal peace in the great outdoors of the hereafter.
