Richard Lee Green, age 80, passed away on July 22, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born in Vancouver, Washington, on December 16, 1945, and lived most of his life in Roseburg, Oregon. 

He was a true Oregon sports fan of the Portland Trailblazers and the Oregon Ducks. He worked in the lumber mill for Roseburg Lumber and later worked as a boilermaker up to his retirement. 

He is survived by Diane Green, his wife of 60 years. Two children; John and wife Linda, JoAnn and husband Nathaniel. Four grandchildren; Jennifer, Richard, Kevin, Ryan. Six great-grandchildren; Jacob, Ryan, Lillian, Evelyn, Madelynn, Autumn.
