Pauline went home to Jesus on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born Mattie Pauline Wilson on October 8, 1929, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, to Willard Wilson and Louise Dulaney Wilson.

Pauline was the fourth of nine children, and a true example of a proper Southern woman. She was a kind and gentle soul and a friend to all.

Pauline and her husband, Ralph Mullins, married on Jan 6, 1951, and moved to Oregon in 1954, with their first child Greg. Three other children, Jennifer, Pam and Phil were born in Oregon. Not only was she a mother to her children she was often a mother to her children's friends as well.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1998; and grandson Kyle Janssen; siblings Ray Lloyd Wilson, O'neal Galloway, Bill Wilson, James Wilson, Anna Hundley, Gene Wilson and Curtis Wilson. Pauline married William "Bill" Mattingly on November 1, 2014.

Pauline is survived by her husband Bill; sister Marcella Grubb; children and their spouses, Greg (Nan) Mullins, Jennifer (Randy) Janssen, Pam (Mike) Richardson, Phil Mullins; and stepson Jim (Claudia) Mattingly; grandchildren Trevor Janssen, Reece and Mattie Richardson, Krisha Derrick and Allen Townsend; step-grandchildren Derek (Darci) Blackford, Michelle Poulton and Laura Jones.

Pauline had one great-grandchild, Azeleah Derrick; 28 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was blessed with a large family and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A viewing is planned for Friday, August 5, 2016, at Taylor's Family Mortuary, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., 245 SW Main, Winston. Services are being held at Roseburg Church of God, 4051 NE Stephens on Saturday, Aug 6, 2016, at 11 a.m.
