Oliver George Updegraff was born on April 11, 1934 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Ina and George Updegraff. Oliver was a hard-working diesel mechanic who loved his family and was always there if someone needed help. He loved hunting, fishing, his animals and fiddling with anything mechanical. He had many accomplishments over the years, but the ones he was most proud of were his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Oliver was a father of seven children:

He married Barbara Norena Leeper and they had three children;David Wayne Updegraff of Eugene, OR. Lisa Rene Bishop & husband Thomas Duane of Anchorage, AK. George Oliver Updegraff of Valdez, AK.

Oliver then married Janet Rae Ward and together they had Stephen Ward Updegraff of Kingman, AZ.

Oliver passed away on April 8, 2022 in Roseburg, Oregon, he is survived by his wife Mycolynda Rae (Staples), and their children;Russell Eugene Updegraff of Austin, TX, Amy Rene Cox & husband James Cox of Warren, Michigan. Brian Michael Updegraff & wife Julia Updegraff. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Per his request there will be no services held at this time.
