Our beloved Norma Lee McHargue (Kerrick) went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 8, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on Dec. 31, 1946, to the parents of Jesse Eugene and Anna Marie (Langhofer) Kerrick. From there, they made their way to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Then, in Oct. 1954, the family moved to Winston, Oregon, where she lived out the rest of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 60 years, Donnie Roy McHargue. Her children Debra (McHargue) and Don Koehn, Julie McHargue and Michael McHargue. Grandchildren Katelyn and Devin Koehn and Kyle and David Johnson, and godchild Hannah Duncan. Her siblings Richard Kerrick, Barbara and John Sevdy, and Randy and Donna Kerrick, along with numerous nieces and nephews. All brought endless joy to her heart. She was a proud grandmother and a loving godmother.

She spent her life caring for others and had a special place in her heart for children. Those she cared for and their families became a part of her extended circle of life. Norma was a devoted Christian who took solace in knowing the Lord. Her Christian values guided every aspect of her life and molded her into the beloved person she is.

A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Taylor's Family Mortuary, 245 SW Main St, Winston, Oregon 97496. Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at the Winston Community Center, 440 SE Grape Ave, Winston, Oregon 97496, followed by interment at the Civil Bend Pioneer Cemetery. All are invited to join the family for dinner that will follow the interment.
