Our Mom, Nora Ann LaBeau, passed on Wednesday, the 18th of January 2017. She was 91 years old when she departed this earthly realm to enter the heavenly realm. She was married to our dad, who preceded her in death in November 2015, for 64 years. She left behind 4 children, Linda, Jack, Becky, Barbara, 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mom was one of those people who never meet a stranger.

A stranger was simply someone she had not met yet and made them her friend. To those she had met, you were family to her, whether by blood or not.

Her love of people was displayed in giving of her time, her finances and even offering her home if someone needed a place to sleep. Mom and dad owned many businesses over the years, including Pet shop/dog grooming, heating & air conditioning, Laundromat/dry-cleaning and a uniform business.

She enjoyed being involved on various committees in the RV park where she lived for the last several years. She had a smile that was contagious and her laughter could brighten up anyone's day.

One thing that exemplified her was her unconditional love for people and her zest for life.

She was a very special lady that we all loved and she will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Winston Nazarene Church located on Thompson Street in Winston.
