Milton (Pat) Duane Restoule Aka The Fish God and Pink Panther (cb handle) passed away unexpected at home August 24, 2025. He was born November 16, 1943 in Aberdeen, WA to Buster Restoule and Norma Restoule (Singleton). He lived his first few years of life on a houseboat. Later, the family moved to Dixonville, Oregon. He attended Dear Creek elementary and Glide High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He spent his life working in the woods that he loved. He worked his way up to being a shovel operator which he did for many years. He spent most of his spare time outdoors, a man of the woods. He grew up hunting and fishing and enjoyed both all his life with his children, his family and friends. Spending as much time in the Umpqua area as he had, there was not a place that he had not hunted, fished or logged. He loved to tell animated stories about all his adventures. Wherever Pat was, he was a large presence, loud, boisterous and he loved to be the life of the party. When he was around, even if you couldn't see him, you could definitely hear him.

He married Loleta (Bodfield) Ledbetter and together they had 2 children, (Shelly) Michelle (Todd) Restoule Clinesmith and Bradley (Sarah) Restoule and raised four stepchildren, Karen (Steve) Bruggeman, David (Kay) Ledbetter, Gregory (Lilly) Ledbetter, and Jeffrey (Cindy) Ledbetter. He had fourteen grandchildren, Samantha Clinesmith, Danielle Clinesmith, Liam Restoule, Paige Restoule, Lincoln Restoule, Eliana Restoule, Jason Bruggeman, Justin Bruggeman, Bretton Ledbetter, Corina Ledbetter, Christopher Ledbetter, Katrina Ledbetter, Travis Ledbetter and Krysten (Ledbetter) Krueger. He also had ten great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by both of his parents and his stepfather, Charles Singleton, his sister, Merridy Thurmond, stepbrother Harold Singleton, stepsister Rexie Reese and many great friends. He is survived by his brother Michael Restoule, his sisters Susan Singleton and Laurel Sieck, his stepsisters Charlene Blake and Jackalyn Cornell, all his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren and several close friends. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, his cat Sylvester and faithful dog Taylor.

There will be a military service Wednesday, October 8th at 2:00 pm at the pavilion of the Roseburg National Cemetery Annex located on the VA Grounds at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd. It will be followed by a get-together at 3:30 pm at Pat's Place, 2598 Old Hwy 99 S, Roseburg where there will be snacks and desserts. Bring a lawn chair and a story to share. Pat would love us having a few laughs together when remembering him.
