Marcia E. Heigh, age 53, passed away with her family by her side on June 9, 2013. She was born in Roseburg, Oregon on November 14, 1959 to Robert Lee and Maybell (Standley) Cummings. She was raised and graduated from high school in Camas Valley. After high school she went to Beauty College in Roseburg and eventually owned several business, the Nail Nook and Tenmile Store. She loved the beach and enjoyed looking at lighthouses. A friend introduced her to Wes Heigh and she moved to Vancouver, Washington. They were married on May 13, 2000, they lived in Vancouver and it was there that she began working for Riverview Community Bank working her way up to item processing supervisor. Together they enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and working with Relay for Life. She was a courageous fighter and battled ovarian cancer for 4 years. She leaves her mother Maybell of Camas Valley and husband Wes of Vancouver. She was a loving sister to; Robert O. and his wife Debra of Camas and their three sons, Robert, Steve and Gary and loving sister to; Diane Singleton and her husband Lorris and their 2 sons Alan and Doug. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Marica's life will be held at the Camas Valley Grange on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2pm.
