Lloyd Robert Kingston Age 92, of Roseburg, Oregon, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 26, 2011. He was born in St. James, Missouri on November 7, 1919. He was a Sergeant in the USMC during WWII. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, his daughter, Linda Cassidy, 2 sisters in Missouri, Mabel Flaim and Lillian Ramori, his granddaughter, Chanda Jensen, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He retired from a career as a linotype operator in southern California. He loved spending time with family and friends and telling stories of his life adventures. He also enjoyed his church family and working with The Braille Team. Memorial services will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Roseburg, Oregon on Saturday, January 28, 2012, 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Braille Team at St. Paul Lutheran Church. "Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone."
