Larry E. Holland, age 66 died suddenly on March 1, 2024 in Roseburg, OR.  He was born in Roseburg to parents were Enoch and Lois Holland at Douglas Community Hospital.

He lived his entire life in Roseburg graduating from RHS and went to work in Sept 1975 for Roseburg Forest Products.   He worked at the Dixonville plant until it was closed, then worked at Plant 2 in Dillard for the rest of his career.  He retired in the summer of 2016 having worked over 40 years for RFP where he made many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Laurel Holland and two children; Thomas (Jenna Padilla) Holland of Salem, OR and Kendal (Jeremy) Munoz of Logan, Utah.  He was blessed with 3 grandchildren who were his entire world; Madix and Aliyah Munoz and Jayce Holland.  He also leaves behind his brother Chris Holland of Springfield.  He is pre-deceased by his parents and older brother Enoch (Nick) Holland.

He leaves behind many longtime friends who he had many wonderful memories of camping every summer on the Oregon coast, childhood adventures and attending his children's sporting events.  He will be greatly missed by those that loved him.  His family is heartbroken to continue life without this gentle man.

A Celebration of Life will be on March 16 at 2:00pm at New Life Church located at 1723 NE Vine St.  Roseburg, OR.  A reception will follow at the church.  Please don't feel you need to dress up for this celebration as Larry was a humble man who wore his blue jeans and Carhartt shirts every day.  He wore a suit twice in his life, once to be married in and then again to give his daughter away at her wedding.
