Kyra Lee McClure passed away after a lengthy battle with an illness on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at the age of 24. She was born Champaign, Illinois on May 10, 1985 to parents Linda Killingsworth and Mitch McClure. Kyra was raised in Illinois and moved to Winston, Oregon in 2003. She graduated from Douglas high school where she had many great memories and lots of friends. She also attended Roseburg Christian Fellowship Church. Kyra always smiled and waved at everyone she met, and she laughed at every joke she was told. She loved music and dancing and was always a fan of slapstick comedy. She also had a special bond with her dog Gizmo. Kyra is survived by her mother Linda of Winston; father Mitch McClure of Ohio; sisters Kayla Aywlard of Louisiana and Leyna Birdsell of Winston. Funeral Services were held at Roseburg Christian Fellowship Church on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow in Missouri. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Purcell Baptist Church in Purcell, Missouri. Interment will follow at the Fasken, Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
