Kory Allen Geyer, 37 passed away after a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by his family on July 12, 2026 at his home in Winston. Born and raised in Douglas County, Kory enjoyed spending time with his children, his siblings, his extended family, watching wrestling, playing online games, and listening to his favorite music. Kory loved trying new foods, eating his favorite seafood crab, and trying unsuccessfully to be a cowboy at his grandparents ranch in Lookingglass. Kory loved to tell jokes, play pranks, and could light up a room with his infectious laugh. Kory was a son, grandson, brother, father, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. His greatest accomplishment came at the end of his life, when his illness brought family members together and healed broken relationships that were long overdue. Kory taught us in death, more than anything else, that family is forever. Kory is survived by his parents David and Holly Geyer, Lisa Phillips, and Jeff and Allison Blair. His grandparents Dave and Claudia Geyer. His siblings: sister Krystle Vanburger, brother TJ and sister in law Shelby Geyer, brother Cody and sister in law Becky Faurie-Geyer, brother Ace an sister in law Nicole Geyer, and sister Cheyenne Geyer. Best friends Tim Delia and Roy Ferretti. Numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kory leaves behind two beautiful children, son Zane age 14, and daughter Juniper age 3, along with their mother's Sabrina Brown and Aria Mathison who Kory maintained a wonderful co-parenting relationship with. Kory was preceeded in death by his three favorite grandmothers Beverly Griggs, Margaret Ostrom and Gladys (Nanny) Raleigh. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 2pm in the Cheryl Ford Auditorium at Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon.

Kory may have lost his physical battle with cancer, but won in all the ways that truly mattered. He is now cancer free and surrounded by his loved ones in Heaven just as he was earthside until his last breath. In his own way, he beat cancer!
