Keith Edward Dahl passed away on Dec. 1, 2023. He was born on Jan. 26, 1939, in Roseburg, Oregon.

Keith is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia Ann Dahl, daughters Lori Davis (Ryan), Diane Gaylor (Frank) and Teresa Wolfe, grandchildren Kyler Yanamoto, Kameron Wolfe, Brittney and Katrina Gaylor,  great-granddaughter Avery Wolfe, his loving sisters Janice Douglass (Dave), Sandee Culver (Robert), NadineBoyd (William), nephews Daryl and Darin Douglass Jeremy and Shaun Boyd, nieces Dianna Culver-Capistrano and Tammy Culver. Keith is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Violet Dahl as well as his grandson Dennis Wolfe.

Keith grew up in Camas Valley, Oregon. After graduating from Camas Valley High School in 1957, he served in the United States Army as a SPEC-4 Crypto Equipment Repairman. In March of 1959, Keith received a letter of appreciation from Brigadier General Wirsing for completing and setting up the interpretation equipment used for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of NATO in Mainz Germany. After his military service in 1960, he hitchhiked from the east coast to Oregon. There he started working for Western Electric. After marrying Patricia in Tigard, Oregon. He brought his bride back to Camas Valley where he raised his girls on the family farm.

Keith started working in the logging industry which led him to start his own business in 1982, Keith Dahl Logging,  retiring in 2000.

He had many hobbies such as woodworking, gold panning, gardening, canning and taking long walks with his German shepards.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on July 14, 2024, at his home in Camas Valley, Oregon.
