Judy Rose Griffin of Canyonville, Oregon, was born on December 31, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gilbert and Jewel Travis. The second of four children, Judy spent her early years in Salt Lake City and Winnemuca, Nevada. She would spend her early adulthood in San Jose, California, and later Stratford, California, before moving to Canyonville in 2000. Judy met her husband, Ed, in 1973. They were married in 1974 and later had their three children Brook, Lainie, and Kellan. Judy was the life of every party and made many close friends every place she went. She devoted her years to taking care of her family and spending time gardening in their yard. She and Ed loved to travel and loved it even more when family members could join them. Judy passed away in her home in Canyonville, surrounded by loved ones, on December 3, 2020, from pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband, Ed, daughter, Lainie Stambaugh, sons, Brook Griffin and Kellan Griffin, seven beautiful grandchildren, her brother and sister, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were lucky to have Judy in their lives. She will be sorely missed by all. A celebration of life will be held in the spring in Sanger, California.
