Jenny Lind Harvey, of Roseburg, Oregon, age 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors on Monday, January 11, 2016 after battling ovarian cancer for over four years. Jenny was born in Roseburg to James and Ruby Ann (Vance) Taylor. She graduated from South Umpqua High School in 1982 and married the love of her life, John Harvey on September 3, 1983 in Roseburg. Jenny and John raised three sons in the Christleville neighborhood near Wilbur. She worked for over 30 years at the Roseburg Albertsons. Jenny was known for her beautiful voice and was part of the praise team at Roseburg Alliance Church and sang at many other churches and events. "Mimi" had a special connection with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; from sporting events to school activities, she was always their #1 fan. From racing the Crash Classic to slalom skiing at Cooper Creek to hiking Mount Thielsen and camping at Scott Lake, she lived life to the fullest.

Jenny is survived by her husband, John Harvey; son Brodie and his wife Tarah, and grandchildren, Beau, London, and Grayson; son Blake and his wife Stephanie; son Dylan and his fiancé Kacie. She also leaves her father James Taylor; her mother Carol Johnson; sister Julie Thomas; brother JT Taylor; sister Sarah Gray; brother Jeff Johnson; brother Mike Johnson; brother Brian Johnson as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Jenny is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Ann, sister Maria Suzette "Suzy", and sister Ruby Caroline "Carrie".A celebration of Jenny's life will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Redeemers Church, 3031 W Harvard Ave, Roseburg.
