Jason Robert Monroe was born on March 27, 1977, at Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital in Medford, Oregon, to Robert and Annette Monroe. He passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2025, in Winston, Oregon.

Jason spent most of his childhood in Winston, Oregon, where he was raised by his mother, alongside his brother and a large, loving extended family. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1995 and went on to pursue higher education at Umpqua Community College and later Eastern Oregon University, where he earned degrees that laid the foundation for his long and successful career.

In 1999, Jason began working at Cascade Community Credit Union, where he found not only a career but a second family. Over the next 25 years, he made a lasting impact on the organization through his leadership, integrity, and dedication, ultimately serving as the institution's Chief Financial Officer. His colleagues respected him not just for his professional expertise, but also for his humor and kindness.

Jason was a devoted son, brother, and friend. He deeply cherished time spent with his family, whether during simple visits, holidays, or long drives. He had a close circle of friends who shared his passion for auto racing—a hobby that took him to racetracks across Oregon and brought him countless joyful memories, especially at the Roseburg Speedway, where he attended hundreds of races over the years.

A loyal baseball fan and animal lover, Jason had a special fondness for cats, who were his faithful companions throughout his life. His gentle spirit and quiet strength touched all who knew him.

Jason was a man of God who carried his faith throughout every chapter of his life. He lived with humility, gratitude, and a deep, unwavering belief in the grace of God. His relationship with his faith wasn't about grand gestures, but about the small, consistent ways he showed up for people—with kindness, integrity, and a servant's heart.

His faith brought him peace, especially in difficult times, and gave him a strong sense of purpose. His life was a powerful testimony to his beliefs. Jason's legacy is not only in what he accomplished but in how he lived—with faith, gentleness, and love.

Jason is survived by his mother, Annette Monroe; his brother, John Monroe (wife: Wennie); as well as numerous extended family members who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Monroe, in 2024.

A private interment will be held in Oregon. Jason's family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and encourages those who knew him to honor his memory by living with kindness and faith.
