Jack D. Lott Of Sutherlin, Oregon, passed away February 17, 2010, at a local care facility. He was born November 6, 1928, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Ira Fred and Jennie Olive (Norwood) Lott. On March 12, 1949 he married Betty Mae Cox in Shelley, Idaho, and several years later their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Their oldest daughter was born before the family moved to Oregon in 1950, settling in the Oakland-Sutherlin, area. Over the years Jack worked in several area mills and drove school bus for the Sutherlin School district. He is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Jack, Tom (Gwenn), Leland and Gordon; daughters, Jennifer (Randy) Parker; Sue (Pat) Felber; Linda (Mark) Ellingson; Sheryl Laederich; Karen (Mike) Divine, and Marcia (Rob) Kempton; 32 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clive, Hugh and Fred; sister, LaJuan Wershey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings Frank, Grace and Rita; daughter, Brandy, and three great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Church, 351 St. John Street, Sutherlin, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, with viewing one hour prior to the service.
