Holger D. Fussel passed away on December 28, 2009 at the age of 39 as a result of an accident. He was born in Untep, Germany to parents Gerit (Sabe) and Freddie Fussel on January 11, 1970. Holger moved to the United States with his family when he was eight years old. He was known as a devote family man that loved spending time with his family and enjoying his children. He was humorous and was always cracking jokes. Holger was a generous man and would help others in need. He loved his fishing boat and occasionally even singing karaoke. Holger was united in marriage to Colene Barredo on October 20, 2001 in Roseburg, Oregon. Holger is survived by his loving wife Colene Fussel of Winston; children Melina Fussel, Alyssa Bergold, Johnathan Wickland all of Winston, Rochelle Willis and her husband Jeff of Roseburg and Dana Sharp and her boyfriend Dustin Haden also of Roseburg; brothers Manuel Putnam and Matt Putnam of Roseburg; sisters Julie Bellinger of Winston, Ela Fussel of Florida, Tina Putnam of Winston, and Connie Edwards of Idaho; grandchildren Tyre Haden, Taylon Haden, Caleb Willis and a future granddaughter Cailey Willis all of Roseburg. Holger also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He was greatly loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Friends and family may pay their respects at Taylor's Family Chapel on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at Taylor's Chapel on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
