Frederick George Dorman, age 75, died April 24, 2026. He was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Van Nuys, California, the family moved to Grants Pass, and then moved to Roseburg in 1985 where Fred lived until his death.

Fred was a gardener, photographer, writer and a real estate agent; but above all he was a kind and gentle man, who touched many lives with his peaceful presence, infectious smile and beautiful spirit. His legacy is an imperishable one of love, kindness, generosity and resilience, which will live in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace, and may eternal light shine upon him. May God take Fred to Himself and may we see him again in Heaven. The world has lost a beautiful soul and person.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Cleveland Cemetery in Melrose, with a reception to follow.
