Earl Delbert Wilcox 

August 7, 1938 – May 12, 2026

Earl Wilcox passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 87 in Roseburg, OR. He was surrounded by loved ones and left this world knowing he was deeply loved.

Earl was born on August 7, 1938 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Max and Bonnie Wilcox. He grew up and attended school in Albuquerque. Throughout his life, Earl was known for his kindness, humor, generosity, and a strong work ethic.

Family was important to Earl. He took great pride in being a father, grandparent, sibling, and friend. Some of the family’s memories include fishing, card games, and his dog named George.

Earl worked as a grocery store manager for many years and was respected for his strong work ethic.

In his free time, Earl enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, visiting the Oregon coast, country music, watching westerns, and playing SkipBo. Many will remember him happiest when he was helping others.

Spouse - Janet Wilcox

Children – James Wilcox, Eric Wilcox, Caroline Sellers, Bonnie Wilcox

Grandchildren – Kiefer Sellers, Jesse Sellers, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren

Siblings – Helen Burson, Cecil Wilcox, Donald Wilcox, Gary Wilcox

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Tommie Jo Wilcox, and his parents, Max and Bonnie Wilcox.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Calapooia Free Methodist Church, Sutherlin, OR. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, the love, lessons, and memories he shared will remain in our hearts forever.
