Obituary

Dorothy Ann Ingwerson, of Riddle, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the age of 84. She was born July 26, 1926 in Elk, Washington, one of 16 children born to John and Veronica (Olheiser) Jares. She was united in marriage to Donald Ingwerson on November 2, 1946 in Riverton, Wyoming. The family later made their home in Oregon, settling in the Douglas County. Dorothy was a founding member of the All Souls Catholic Church in Myrtle Creek and active in the Altar Society. She was also very active with St. Vincent DePaul. Dorothy was a loving wife who loved God and her family. She is survived by her children, David and his wife Kathy of Riddle, Oregon; Richard and his wife Lynn of Roseburg, Oregon; Patricia Calvert and her husband Leonard of Roseburg; Phyllis Brown and her husband Rusty of Myrtle Creek; Jeanine Coffey of Riddle and Jeanette Calvert of Kelso, Washington. She also leaves three sisters and a brother as well as 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ingwerson Sr., and two sons Donald Jr., and Joseph Ingwerson. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Taylor's Family Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be at All Souls Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Fr. Bill Ryan, O.S.A. officiating. Private interment will be at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
