Doris Fay (Bunch)Green

Doris was born on March 29, 1934 in Chillicothe Texas to Henry and Iva May Bunch and passed into her next life July 19, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister (Dorothy May), sons Keith and Kevin Rhue, grandson David Rhue and husbands Louis Rhue and Raymond Green.

She is survived by daughters Kathy Smith (Marvin) and Kelly Peterson (Leslie) and Daughter-in-Law Margaret Rhue, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Larry (Naomi) Bunch and sister Mary Lou McDonald.

Doris is best known for her love of God, others, country, and even her beagle dogs. She could watch for hours the Westminster Dog show and always aspired to be the keeper of the dogs in heaven.

Her love of God was known by all. Her deep faith and the grace of God sustained her through many 'bumps in the road of life'. She loved the worship songs in church and engaged enthusiastically. She was always open to some good 'old time' 'camp meeting' style preaching and singing.

Politics was another passion of hers. She was patriotic to the core and never hesitated to defend the core values of our country. Having been raised in a small town in Texas by a father that was the county sheriff and a mother that was a nurse, laid the groundwork for an immense pride in America. She loved July 4 ^th and the all-American parades and participated in them as a youth. She was the homecoming queen of her beloved Chillicothe High School Eagles as a Junior.

Doris was a giver. If she knew you needed something, she went out of her way to try to supply the need. She has a special place in her heart for the folks that have been disadvantaged by life. She would not only slip them some money, but would certainly let them know that God was the permanent answer.

She loved rain and the coast of Oregon. She lived on the coast from 1995 to 2014 and enjoyed every minute of it. As an avid weather watcher, the coast kept her real busy!

Doris was deeply loved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed!
