Charlotte Boyer, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord Friday, September 15, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Regina Ammerman; sister, Esther; and brother, James.
She wore many hats as wife, mother and oldest sister in a family of six brothers and sisters. Charlotte had numerous talents as a seamstress, cook and painter. Her interests ranged from avid reader to cross country skier with her husband Dean. She loved flowers but she loved her Lord more. While exercising in the YMCA she made many friends.
Her occupation was homemaker for her husband and four boys. Charlotte grew up going to church where she taught Sunday School and served in other ways all of her life. Her faith in God sustained her to the end.
Surviving Charlotte is her husband, Dean; a sister; two brothers; and four sons, Mark Boyer of Roseburg, Oregon, Mike Boyer of Salem, Oregon, Dale Boyer of Coos Bay, Oregon, Mervin Boyer of Green River, Wyoming, and their wives. From these she got eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was truly blessed.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Roseburg Memorial Gardens for close friends and her kin. A memorial service will be at The Church on the Rise on Diamond Lake Boulevard on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 2 p.m.
