Celia Hanscom

August 10, 1935 - May 27, 2020

Celia was born to Andres and Leonor Marquez in Compton, California. She was one of eleven children, three sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leland 'Norm' Hanscom; children, Paul Hanscom, Diana 'Dodie' Brasher, Michael Hanscom and Mike

Paramo. She is also survived by her brothers, Andy Marquez, Tony Vazquez: sister, Vicki Vasquez, and 7 grandchildren.

Celia was will be remembered for her hospitality, kindness, friendship, warm smile, and amusing sense of humor. For many years she worked as a professional cook at several restaurants in the area and will always be remembered for her amazing cooking skills.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses she had great love for her creator and loved to share that and the hope for the future from the Bible with all who were interested.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
