Carol Ann Ferguson, age 56, of Winston Oregon, passed away November 28, 2013 at home in the arms of her loving family. Carol was born on February 6, 1957 in Arcata, California to Yvonne (Artman) Solberg and Don Solberg. They moved to Roseburg in 1965 where she attended school and graduated from Roseburg High School in 1975. On October 6, 1984, she happily married Robert (Bob) Ferguson. Shortly after they moved to Coos Bay, she was able to enjoy motherhood and care for her 3 children from home. Once the children were all enrolled in school full time she began working part time at the Wagon Wheel Grocery Store. In 2002, the family moved to Canby, Oregon and Carol soon found a new hobby in scrapbooking after beginning a job at Hot Off the Press Scrapbooking Company. In 2008, Carol and Bob returned to Roseburg to be closer to their families. There, in 2010, she found her dream job at the Wildlife Safari as Retail Manager. She enjoyed every day she was able to work and developed everlasting friendships with everyone she worked with. She also enjoyed tole painting, jewelry making, reading a good murder mystery and spoiling her two grandchildren. Carol will always be remembered for her pure selflessness, loyalty, and unconditional love for her family. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bob Ferguson; three children, Kristen Ferguson of Grants Pass, Jessica Ferguson of Eugene, and Rob Ferguson of Eugene; two grandchildren, Mia and Andy. Her father Don Solberg preceded her in death. On Saturday, December 7, 2013, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Wildlife Safari Theater at 3:00 pm.
