Anna Marie Benson Anna Marie Benson passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2010 at the age of 70. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Benson; a son Pablo Alviar and two daughters, Lisa Lundy and Michelle Cole. Anna cherished her three grandchildren, Hanna Wallis; Katherine and Griffin Lundy. She also leaves two stepsons; two stepdaughters; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as a brother, Basil Delume and his wife Joan of Australia. Anna was born and raised in Rhodes, Greece on February 22, 1940 and immigrated to the United States in 1964. She lived in many places, moving from California to Roseburg, Oregon in 1988. Anna was a lover of the outdoors and truly enjoyed fishing and camping. She was an avid needle pointer and quilt maker who also enjoyed cooking and working in her garden. Her love of playing dice was enjoyed by anyone who would offer the time to play. Anna especially enjoyed playing with her children and grandchildren. She was a person who gave time and love to the people who surrounded her, as well as the people who especially needed it. She will be truly missed. Memory services will be held at the Garden Of Prayer in Roseburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery, on Saturday, June 19, 2009 at 12:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made to Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
