Angelo Thomas Tambourine Angelo Thomas Tambourine, born to Angelo and Anna Tambourine, on March 16, 1932, went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 7, 2011. He attended grade school at St. Tarcissus Parish School and graduated from St. Philip High School in Chicago. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loretta Hanssen Tambourine, his 5 children: Karen Alter (husband Jon) Myrtle Creek, OR, Steve (wife Alison), Scott (wife Karen) all of Anaheim, CA., Daniel of Long Beach, CA, David (wife Tara) Oroville, CA., Brother Arthur (wife Marlene)of North Brook, IL. Brother in laws Bruce Hanssen of Alabama and Warren (wife Martha) Hanssen of Illinois. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his 2 canine companions, Snowy and Lucky. He was raised in Chicago, Illinois. In 1959 he moved his family to Southern California where he lived until 1980 and then moved to Gridley, California. In September 2009 he moved to Myrtle Creek Oregon to be near his daughter. He worked many years for National Tea Co. in Illinois and Von's Grocery Co. in Southern California. From 1985 Angelo and Loretta owned a business in Oroville, CA. until retiring in 1998. In 1999, just for fun, they joined a former Von's Manager and drove for Fed Ex Interline. He volunteered many hours for Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital in Gridley, CA. Viewing and Rosary will be on Friday, November 11, 2011, 9am-10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am. All services will be held at All Souls Catholic Church, Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
